I will tell you a story of my journey into the world
of light. I studied with Dr. Frederick Lenz, the spiritual
teacher known to his students as Rama.
I met him in 1982, and had the good fortune of
studying with him in Los Angeles until sometime in 1987 or
1988.

I also had the very good fortune of sitting with him
one last time in New York, in December, 1997.
This book is based on my experiences with Rama. I
have compacted experiences in an attempt to tell this
incredible story about life with an American mystic. I
