“Think about what you want to tell me. If it is
private, maybe it needs to remain that way.” I prayed that
he would tell me, but knew better than to invade areas that
should remain confidential.

“No, it is no big thing, you know. He just won’t be
coming back to school. They made him go to continuation
school. won’t be back here." Mike looked towards the door
as he spoke, then finally looked at me.
"Oh no, I am really sorry to hear that. I will miss
Josh." I moved towards Mike as I spoke, but he had
delivered his message and was headed for the exit.
