along tree lined roads and stopped beside a commanding two-
story shingled house that was perched atop a steep cliff.

I found myself in an old room, seated in a Victorian
chair that overlooked the ocean. I felt like I was
floating above the land, unattached to the earth. Nine
strangers were seated in the room with me. I felt alone,
detached.

“You will meet with Rama alone soon. We ask that you
remember who you are. It is essential.” The elder who
spoke to me was angelic in voice and continence. He spoke
with an authority that lacked all traces of intimidation.
His voice was strong but calming, and I could feel that he
and this group loved me deeply.
