There is no room, only a lamp.
Because Suzy got a really good deal on the price at Ikea. :)
The lamp exists in the room because we view our world in a dualistic manner. Dualism is a useful viewpoint because it allows us to categorize our experiences and separate the 'things' that 'surround' us. But it is not an absolute view of reality. For example, I like chocolate and therefore I think that chocolate is good. However, you might be alergic to chocolate and think that it is bad. Chocolate is neither good nor bad, it just exists. We can view the lamp and the room as separate objects so that they can be categorized by function and location. But in an absolute sense, the lamp and the room do not exist separately.
